The Nepal Montessori Training Centre (NMTC) was founded in 2001 by Ms. Pawitra Limbu with a commitment to strengthening early childhood education in Nepal through quality Montessori teacher training. It is the first institution in Nepal established to specialise in early childhood education through the Montessori method.

Over the years, NMTC has trained more than 8,000 educators and supported parents and educators in developing a deeper understanding of Montessori principles and philosophy. NMTC is affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). Under the guidance of Ms. Pawitra Limbu, NMTC’s experienced team of trainers continues to evolve its programmes in response to developments in Montessori education and contemporary practices in early childhood education and development (ECED).

NMTC remains committed to maintaining high standards in both the theory and practice of Montessori education, preparing educators to create thoughtful, developmentally appropriate environments that lay a strong foundation for the future of young children.
